Google Doc™ files are wonderfully flexible. But many people and organizations want
  an easy standardized way to maintain structured notes (also referred to as 'logs') in Google Doc™ files. 
Notes in Docs is a Google Doc™ add-on that  provides tools to make it easy to keep such organized notes.

NotesInDocs was first released on 2/19/2023 as a very simple application.  It will evolve progressively  with added features.
